Frequently Asked Questions
Can I create multilingual CVs in multiple languages?
Yes. Letswork lets you create the same CV in multiple languages while keeping the design perfectly in sync.
Our CV builder supports over 150 languages and 21 character sets, with appropriate font families available for each language. When you create a multilingual CV, all layout, styling, spacing and template settings stay synchronised across languages, so you only design once. Language-specific content (such as localised names, job titles or translated text) can be edited independently. This makes managing multiple language versions easy while ensuring each CV looks natural and professional for local recruiters. Supported character sets include Arabic, Armenian, Bengali, Cyrillic, Devanagari, Ethiopic, Georgian, Greek, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Hebrew, Japanese, Kannada, Khmer, Korean, Latin, Lao, Malayalam, Myanmar, Odia, Simplified Chinese, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Tibetan, Traditional Chinese, Urdu and Vietnamese.
Does the CV builder support right-to-left (RTL) languages?
Yes. Right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Hebrew and Urdu are fully supported and the text direction switches automatically.
When you select an RTL language, the CV layout automatically adapts to right-to-left reading order so alignment, text flow and structure are correct. You still have full control over sidebar direction, spacing, font size and font families, allowing you to fine-tune the design so the CV looks polished and professional in any RTL language.
How does the CV builder handle date formatting?
Dates are automatically formatted based on the selected CV language, with full manual control available.
Letswork supports a wide range of date formats, including full month and year, abbreviated styles, numeric formats and region-specific conventions such as CJK or Korean formats. The selected CV language applies the commonly used local standard by default, but you can override it in the text settings. Any change instantly updates all timeline and date elements across the entire CV to keep everything consistent.
Can I customise colours, fonts and layout in my CV?
Yes. You can fully customise colours, fonts, spacing and layout, with additional advanced options available in Premium.
Each template includes multiple professionally designed colour palettes that ensure your CV looks great even on the free plan. You can choose from a wide range of fonts, set separate heading fonts, and adjust font size, weight, line height, alignment and spacing. Premium users unlock individual colour control, custom gradients with multiple stops, background patterns and deeper layout customisation. Layout variants range from formal to modern or creative, and a global roundness control lets you instantly adjust the overall tone of the design.
Can I try the CV builder before subscribing?
Yes. You can start with the free plan and upgrade only if you want additional customisation.
We recommend beginning with the free version, which includes everything needed to create a professional CV (including 3 watermark free downloads per month). Considering premium? You can fully design your CV using the live preview editor and see exactly how it will look before paying. If you later want more advanced visual controls, premium fonts or background options, you can upgrade at any time after you are satisfied with your design.
Does the CV builder auto-save my work?
Yes. Your CV is automatically saved, and offline editing is supported.
Letswork auto-saves your progress at regular intervals, and the save status is visible under the document title. You can also save manually at any time. If your internet connection is lost, the editor switches to offline mode and securely stores changes locally using encryption. Once your connection is restored, your work is synced back to our servers. Undo and redo functionality is built in, allowing you to easily revert accidental changes.
How does Letswork protect my data and privacy?
Your data is protected using HTTPS encryption and industry-standard security practices.
Letswork uses HTTPS (TLS) encryption to protect data while it is transmitted between your browser and our servers. Offline edits are stored locally with encryption until they can be securely synced. We follow industry best practices to safeguard your data and only process information necessary to provide the service. For full details, please refer to our privacy policy
